Providing students with high-quality learning materials and equipping students with valuable skills

OER Development & Maintenance

The TRU Open Press will support faculty and staff in developing, maintaining, and updating open education resources.

Open Education Resources can…

Make Content Co-Creation Easier!

  • Using TRU hosted open publishing tools, faculty can collaborate with each other, students, or staff to co-create open content

Cut Learning Material Costs

  • Open resources are free to students, and the Open Press would like to see them used, as much as possible, in TRU classrooms

Be High Quality

  • Contact the Open Press about peer review processes during development, and copyediting and production standards that the Press upholds

OER Example
