TRU Community: Campus and Beyond
The Open Press will create and adapt learning materials to be used by students on campus along with the surrounding community around TRU.
The Open Press addresses the following needs of TRU’s communities:
Cultural Adaptations
Offering opportunities to localize, Indigenize, and internationalize learning materials as appropriate for the intercultural community at TRU
Local Community Engagement
Embedding TRU in the surrounding regional and cultural communities by making learning materials available to community stakeholders
Multi-modal Learning Materials
Developing interactive, multi-modal learning materials to address the needs of learners from diverse backgrounds
Student Involvement
Focusing on improving the student experience with student involvement at all levels of development and implementation
